Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms govern the use of the services provided by Nickname Generator (the "Site"), including the conditions and procedures for use and the rights and obligations between the operator and users.
Article 2 (Services)
The Site provides the following free services:
- Multilingual nickname generation
- Favorites and history management (browser-local)
- Dark mode and multilingual UI
Article 3 (User Obligations)
- Users must use the service only for lawful and ethical purposes.
- Users must not generate or use nicknames that insult, discriminate, or harass others.
- Users must not generate excessive traffic via automated tools or otherwise interfere with normal service operation.
- Users must not use the service in ways that infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other legal rights.
Article 4 (Intellectual Property)
- Copyright in the design, code, text, and images of the Site belongs to the operator.
- Nicknames generated by this Site are produced algorithmically and may be freely used by users. However, if a generated nickname coincidentally matches an existing trademark or work, responsibility lies with the user.
Article 5 (Service Changes and Suspension)
The operator may change, suspend, or terminate any part or all of the service without prior notice. The operator is not liable for any losses arising from such actions.
Article 6 (Disclaimer)
- The Service is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties.
- The operator does not guarantee that generated nicknames are usable on other services (e.g., availability/uniqueness).
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from use of the Service.
Article 7 (Advertising and Third-Party Services)
To support operating costs, the Site displays ads from Google AdSense and other third-party ad networks. The operator is not responsible for the content of these ads or the external sites they link to.
Article 8 (Changes to Terms)
These Terms may change due to legal updates or service changes, with notice given on this page. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes agreement to the updated Terms.
Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes shall be resolved in the court with jurisdiction over the operator's location.
